Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Required Skills and Experience: RN's required to titrate drips- Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine. RNs should have some tele awareness.

Required Credentials: Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated

Shift & Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend. Holiday Requirements: 2-3 Holidays from Thanksgiving to New Years.

Floating Requirements: To other medical surgical areas or units with MedSurg patients waiting for a MedSurg bed

Special Request Requirements: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
