Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Additional Details:

Special Requests: No Travel teams / pairs. Must be able to start within 5 weeks to apply.

Required Skills/Experience: Competencies with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring the ICU. High acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Competencies include efficient with vents, a -lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring, temporary pacemakers, vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations. Must have: 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends: Every Other. Holidays: Rotating.
