Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months within the past 6 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

Additional Details:

MS/TELE Renal

RNs Only - All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license.

Types of Patients on Unit: Cares for our patients with kidney-related conditions, such as acute or chronic kidney disease that sometimes requires renal replacement therapy.

Unit/Facility Details: 36-bed unit. Parking is available.

Shift & Scheduling: Holidays as required. Every other weekend. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.
