Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Patient Ratios: – 1:1 Labor/Induction; 4(up to 6):1 Postpartum.

Equipment Used on Unit: Type of equipment – Computer, Fetal Monitor, IV pump, Infant warmer.

Required Skills/Experience: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum Couplet Care.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Labor Management. Induction of Labor. Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery. Vacuum Assisted Vaginal Deliveries. Cesarean Sections. Manual External Version.

Floating Requirements: Floating Area(s): Acute Care & ED (tasks only).

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
