You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Will accept Oncology Experience (ONS Chemo Certified). Skills: Anaphylaxis, Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values, Inpatient oncology, Isolation Precautions, Neutropenic precautions, Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Community Hospital Experience. Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Antifungals, Antivirals, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Infusion pump management, Intravenous hydration/multivitamins, PICC line care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Active Immunotherapy Specific/Non Specific, Administration of Interferons, Administration of Interleukins, Recognize/manage side effects, Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage, Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression, Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy, Antibiotics, Antiemetics, Corticosteroids, Neupogen, BMT, Foley catheter insertion/management, Phlebotomy skills, Graft Rejection, Graft-versus-host disease, IV push narcotic agents, Medication tolerance/dependence assessment, PCA pump management, Transdermal patches, Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Patient/Family education and support, Post surgical care, Total Body Irradiation.

Special Requests: Please note that the facility needs help through all Mardi Gras, so please minimize any RTO requests from 2/13 - 2/22.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Yes may require every other weekend, unit needs vary throughout the week. Holiday Requirement: Yes.

Floating Requirements: Float Requirement: Yes, will float within MS Oncology and other MS units.
