Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Preferred 36 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Observation Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• Background in observation units, or step-down MS/Tele units.

• Ability to read and interpret strips.

Required Credentials:

• AACN

• Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance.

• Associate Degree or Certificate

Special Requests: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Day / Night Variables

• No On-Call Policy

• Every Other Weekend / Holiday

Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed.
