Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

CNOR (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Type of Equipment: Mako for ortho cases.

Call Requirements: 1-week of call. Will be put on rotation with other nurses.

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):
Orthopedics (total joints, shoulder/knee scopes, fractures), podiatry, general surgery (i.e. laparoscopic, open), AV fistula creation, hands.

Experience circulating and performing Ortho, general surgery, and vascular surgery a must.

Scrub Color – Navy blue (provided by facility).

Patient Ratios – 1 RN + 1 OR Tech / room
