Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Current certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or one of the following AWHONN courses: Intermediate FHM.
Current STABLE (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants) certification from one of the following courses: Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor at the time of hire for experienced nurses.
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
Experience: Perinatal RN Residency, or recently practicing in a Perinatal Setting is preferred.
Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
On Call Requirement: We do not require agency RN's to take call unless they would like to volunteer for call.
Advanced Fetal Monitoring AWHONN certification is not acceptable. One of the following needed: 1. NCC Electric Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), 2. Intermediate FHM AWHONN, 3. Intermediate Instructor FHM AWHONN, 4. Advanced Instructor FHM AWHONN, or 5. Instructor Trainer FHM AWHONN.
