Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Wound / Ostomy Care experience is preferred with some in the last 24 months.
ADN completion required
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Connecticut license

Additional Details:

M-F

Inpatient wound and ostomy nurse acting as a clinical resource and consultant for patients in the acute care setting

Time off requests must be kept to a minimum during your assignment and must be approved prior to confirmation

Must have: Certified wound care (WCC, CWCN/CWON/CWOCN, CWS)

Must have: Ostomy experience.

Mandatory Overtime: During Personnels assignment with Client, he or she is considered part of the unit and will be included as part of the rotation pool of staff (i.e., Client employees and Personnel) who are required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit.

Float: Client may float or reassign Personnel to a different department, unit, or facility (within 30 miles of the Personnels originally assigned facility) within the Personnels clinical competence
