Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Cannot have any previous hits on licensure. Cannot have any of the following background hits: Domestic disputes or domestic violence (at any time), theft (within 5 years), DUIs (within 5 years), drug charges including marijuana (at any time), felony (at any time).

Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac experience (PCU) or Pre/Post Cath Lab experience; PACU alone will not be approved. 2 Years Cardiac PCU experience, IV insertion, Telemetry/dysrhythmia/12-lead EKG

Shift & Scheduling: Travelers will have to work at least 1 holiday shift. Weekend Hours: Every other weekend Call Requirements: None

Special Requests: RTO will be reviewed case by case

Floating Requirements: Any Med Surg or PCU

Unit Details: Number of Beds: 14

Equipment Used on Unit: Phillips Telemetry Monitors; Safeguards; FemStops; TR Bands; TVP

Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferred Skillset/Experience: PCCN, Pre/Post Cath Lab, Sheath pull experience
