Shift & Scheduling: Rotating days, PM's, and weekends. Weekdays 8-hour shifts with 0600, 0730, 1200, and 1330 shift start times. Weekends at 10-hour shifts with 0600 and 1200 shift start times. Holiday shifts required.
Required Skills/Experience:** Inpatient pharmacy exp, IV compounding skills required. Dosing, Anticoagulants, Cardiac dosing, Clinical dosing, High-alert medications, Pediatric dosing, Pharmacokinetic dosing, Renal dosing, Therapeutic med monitoring, Warfarin Dosing, Pharmacotherapy Management for Medical Problems, Infectious diseases, Medication dispensing systems, Carousel System, Intravenous preparation, Compounding, IV push Medications, Mixers for TPN, Sterile Technique, Work Settings, Inpatient / Acute care, Additional Skills, Must be trained on Cerner, and Pharmacy Keeper or BD Med Keeper.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Geriatric dosing*, Bone and joint*, Cardiovascular*, Endocrine*, Gastrointestinal*, Genitourinary*, Hematologic*, Immunologic*, Neurologic*, Pulmonary*, and Renal*.
Required Credentials: RPh and Bachelor’s or Pharm D degree
Unit/Facility Details: Agency pharmacist will be trained on second shift for optimal exposure and patient load. Finger-glove-thumb testing and media fill upon arrival. Tabletop compounding required. Will be required to go to codes.
