Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Float Required: MS, ICU, ED. If staff float to ICU or ED it is to care for Med/Surg level patients or be helping hands. Will not practice outside of scope

Every other weekend required

Patient Diagnoses: cardiovascular, wounds

Special Procedures/Unit Details: MS/TELE CLINICAL TRACK • Interpretation of dysrhythmias • Management of dysrhythmias • O2 Protocol • Non-invasive airway management • Peripheral line care/management • Isolation precaution/PPE • Computerized documentation • Rapid response team activation
