Requirements
Experience
18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

PALS (Required)
NIHSS (Required)
CPI (Required)
TNCC (Preferred)
Vaccinations
Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Trauma experience, Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, conscious sedation, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management, critical care drips, blood administration, etc.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Will consider a first time traveler

Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking

Shift & Scheduling:

On Call, Call Back Requirements: No call

Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating Requirements: Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises
