Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Infusion Center experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a District of Columbia license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekends

Required Credentials: Chemo ONS/ONCC

Required Skills/Experience: Outpatient oncology, Biotherapy, Chemotherapy, Iv Therapy/ Infusions, Medications Administration, Oncologic Emergencies, Iv Push Narcotic Agents, Isolation Precautions, Neutropenic Precautions, Symptom Management, Community Hospital Experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: BMT, Inpatient oncology, Phlebotomy skills, Previous Charge Experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
