Weekend Requirements: Every other
Holiday Requirements: As needed
Floating Requirements: Mainly to PCU but can go to all areas in the hospital depending on abilities
Beds: 16
Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:2 with occasional 1:1- TPA, balloon pump, recovery of crani
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Young adults through geriatrics, sepsis, STEMI, COVID, stroke, neurosurgery, renal failure, respiratory failure, COPD, cancer, DKA; Gaymer Hypothermia, Arrow Balloon Pump, Camino Neuro monitoring, CRRT, Impella, EVDs, Lumbar drains
We do ICPs and occasional balloon pumps. We don't necessarily have to assign those to a traveler
Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Sedation, paralytics, pressors, antihypertensives, heparin, insulin
RNs required to read and interpret
RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated
Candidate may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: RN: Navy Blue
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
