Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Additional Details:

The facility is not accepting new travelers. Submissions must have completed at least one travel contract.

GSA: up to 36 hours per week

No block scheduling allowed

Must have previously worked a night shift within the last year

Weekends/holidays: Rotate every other

Float Requirements : To alike units, based on census - Orthopedics and PCU

Travelers must attend meetings every other month. Schedule to be provided

Unit Information (Bed Size, Case Type, Patient Ratio): Med/Surg-Oncology 37-bed unit; Medical admissions to the unit include patients with cancer, pneumonia, hypoxia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dehydration, deep vein thrombosis, infections, gastrointestinal disorders, pancreatitis, substance abuse, mental status changes;

Surgical admissions include patients undergoing general, bariatric, vascular, urological, endoscopic, podiatric, ear, nose, and throat surgical procedures.
