Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Advanced AWHONN FHM (Preferred)

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Preferred)

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: High-risk L&D experience

Skills: Labor and Delivery Management, Assist with high risk delivery, Circulate for C-section, Work Settings, High Risk Antepartum, Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Antepartum Care and Procedures.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Triage of obstetrical patients

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12

Call required - 24 hrs over 6 6-week period (must be onsite within 45 mins)

Every other weekend & holiday coverage required

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

Floating Requirements: Required to Float to like units (i.e. Mom/Baby)
