Unit Details:
Common diagnoses include neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions such as COPD, DKA, sepsis, and MI, as well as cardiovascular step-down and postoperative cases.
Specialty equipment includes temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo.
The unit cares for chronic ventilator patients who are unable to wean, with respiratory therapy assistance.
Patient population is adults age 18 and older.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
No call.
