Travel Nurse (RN) - Dialysis Unit

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of RN experience with at least one (1) recent year experience in dialysis is required.

Required Credentials: No temporary licenses accepted. All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

Preferred Credentials: Professional nursing certification preferred.

Unit Details: Dialysis services are provided at DCH Regional and DCH Northport campuses and include bedside and peritoneal dialysis. Nurses and Certified Dialysis Techs prepare and perform dialysis treatments on patients within the organization. Dialysis ratios: 1:2 (RN:patient) or 1:3 (RN + CCHT:patient). Uses Fresenius machines; Gambro as needed. Training provided if not familiar with Fresenius or Gambro.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Holidays as required. Every other weekend. Regional campus hours are Monday-Saturday 6:30-1900 with call taken on Sunday and after hours. Northport campus hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with call taken on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and after hours.
