Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials:
A driver's license is required for RNs, LPNs, and PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension EKG Exam is required during onboarding; passing score of at least 80% is required, with only two attempts permitted; update every 3 years.
Ascension Core Competencies is required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score demonstrating competency in the area of specialization; only two attempts allowed; completed within one year of start and updated every 3 years.
Ascension Pharmacology Exam (Pharmacology 1 or 2) is required during onboarding and must be completed before start; minimum 80% score; only two attempts allowed; update every 3 years.

Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
In order to receive travel rate, the clinician's claimed residence must match the address on the driver's license.

Unit Details:
The emergency department includes RME space and sees approximately 100 patients per day.
