Required Skills/Experience: Strong neuro skills required.
Unit Details: Ratios: 5:1 days, 6:1 nights. Common diagnoses/types of patients: neuro, neurosurgery, amputations, multi-trauma, cardiac, complex medical (trachs - no vents). Heparin only; no titratable drips required. Uses tele packs; telemetry is not monitored by the RN and RNs do not read strips. RNs are required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab. CPAP/BiPAP only at night for sleep apnea, nasal cannula, and high-flow cannula; no heated high-flow.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holiday rotation every other. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float to LTAC/med-surg; will not float to HAU unless trained.
