Travel Allied (Respiratory Therapist) - Respiratory Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• First-time travelers accepted with previous adult critical care experience.
• Required skills include adult critical care, inhaled epoprostenol, intubation assist, bedside bronchoscopy/tracheostomy assist, oxygen therapy, high-flow oxygen therapy, aerosol treatment via SVN/Aerogen/MDI, and ABGs.

Required Credentials:

• CRT considered with manager approval.

Unit Details:

• Patient population includes COPD, asthma, respiratory failure, burns, strokes, and trauma.
• Nitric oxide is only used in NICU.
• Travelers are typically not trained in NICU or ER.
• Uses Omnicell; unit equipment includes Medfusion for inhaled epoprostenol, PB 980, Nihon Kohden 440/550, Hamilton MRI, HT70, and V30 BiPAPs.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.
• No call.
• Must be willing to work some holidays.

Floating Requirements:

• Will float throughout the hospital.
