Travel Nurse (RN) - Case Management

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.

For MD Locations – You must have compact license or MD license.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have experience as complex Case Manager

Regulatory skills required: knowledge of CPT codes, Department of Health DRG, HEDIS measures, NCQA, OSHA procedures and JCC

Acute Hospital, Long Term Acute Care/Rehab/Skilled Nursing, Admission Criteria, experience in Care coordination, Discharge Planning, Utilizing InterQual Criteria, and Utilizing Milliman Guidelines

Preferred Skills/Experience:

preferably NCQA experience.

previous Charge experience preferred

Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, LTAC Experience, Trauma Level I Experience

Required Credentials: CCM

Shift & Scheduling: No on call/Weekend
