Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of ED experience with at least 2 prior travel contracts.

Required Credentials: In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license. Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80%, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend or based on department needs. Every other holiday, rotating with regular staff.

Floating Requirements: May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
