Required Skills/Experience:
Competency in dysrhythmia is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with swallow screening is preferred.
Neuro experience is ideal.
Unit Details:
The assignment is on 8 Rose, a neuro medical-surgical unit.
The patient population is adult.
Common diagnoses/treatments include CVA, TIA, inability to ambulate, seizures, common urinary and respiratory conditions, and rare cardiac cases.
Equipment includes Mindray vital sign machines, GE EKG, and cardiac monitors.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend schedule: 2 of 4 weekends per schedule, or 4 of the 8 weekend shift days. Straight weekend scheduling is available if preferred by the candidate.
Holiday availability is required as determined during phone screening.
Floating Requirements:
Floating may be required if needed, but is rare.
