Travel Nurse (RN) - Surgical Intensive Care Unit

In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license.

Required Credentials: Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations. Ascension Pharmacology exam required prior to start; minimum 80% score with 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Specialty exam required prior to first assignment and every 3 years thereafter in specialty; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG exam required; minimum 80% score with 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Cerner test-out required. Driver's License/State ID

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have at least 6 months of separation from Ascension to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Kidney transplants, big back surgeries, Liu and Mons neck resections, thoracotomies, Whipples, and other complex surgical cases.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
