Travel Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Knowledge of chest tubes and dysrhythmia training preferred.

Required Credentials:
Crisis Prevention Institute Blue Card (CPI Blue Card) is required for submission.

Special Requests:
Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details:
Patient ratios are 4:1 with cath recovery, 6:1 maximum ratio, and may at times be stretched to 7:1.
PCTs are available on day and night shifts, and unit clerks are available on day shift.
Equipment includes remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps.
Procedures include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Agency staff float first and may float to Ortho/Med-Surg.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
