Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum two (2) - three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
Required Credentials:
ASN.
Preferred Credentials:
BSN.
Shift & Scheduling:
Holiday shifts are required per rotation.
Weekend shifts are required per rotation.
No on-call requirements.
Unit Details:
Monitors intake and output of neonatal patient assignments.
Assists mothers with breastfeeding initiation and Baby-Friendly care.
Administers medications using proper barcode scanning.
Reports on patient assignments during multidisciplinary rounds.
Floating Requirements:
Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
