Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pediatric cardiac sonographer. Must have recent experience in a large pediatric academic medical center. Experience scanning complex congenital heart disease and surgically repaired congenital heart defects. Experience completing full measurements and writing comprehensive reports.
Required Credentials: Completion of a cardiac sonographer program.
Special Requests: No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment.
Unit Details: Uses GE and Philips ultrasound machines and the Syngo Dynamics reporting system.
Shift & Scheduling: 5x8s with variable start times (7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM if on call). Weekend shifts may be required as part of regularly scheduled hours. Weeknight call rotation: 2-3 weeknights per month, 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM. Option to work 4x10s during weeks with approved requested time off.
Floating Requirements: Primary location is the main campus; may be asked to cover shifts across the system of care (North, South, Uptown, Wheatridge). Reliable vehicle required for travel between system-of-care locations.
