Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• CVICU experience a plus but not required.

Special Requests:

• No block schedule requests; 48 hour can be considered but not guaranteed.

Unit Details:

• Blended ICU/CVICU caring for adult and geriatric patients.
• Common diagnoses/treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.
• Uses Baxter pumps.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Call required.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) and ED holding for admitted patients on an as-needed basis.
