Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
Experience with vasopressor medications and sedation, vents, arterial lines, and wound care.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Burn experience preferred.
Special Requests:
All RTO to be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission.
Unit Details:
Mixed adult and pediatric burn ICU population, approximately 65% adult and 35% pediatric, including neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Extensive dressing changes with moderate or deep sedation.
Cares for all types of acute burns, overnight burn triage, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and wound patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend is required.
Floating Requirements:
Must be willing to float to competent units as needed during low census, including PICU, TCU, Adolescent, and School Age.
