Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with vaginal exams and circulating C-sections required.

Special Requests: No self or block scheduling. Shifts assigned to meet unit needs.

Unit Details: Pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes patient population. Ratios follow AWHONN guidelines for labor; 1:4 for postpartum. RNs titrate Pitocin and insulin drips. Uses Phillips monitors; strips are monitored by central telemetry tech, and RNs are not required to read their own strips.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend coverage as needed to cover the unit. Holiday coverage as needed to cover the unit. No call. Schedule pending approval.

Floating Requirements: Float to postpartum in rotation.
