Travel Allied (OTA / COTA) - Rehabilitation Unit

Special Requests:

• If you are working per diem at a Kindred facility, you need to wait 6 months after your last shift to apply as a traveler.
• If you are a full-time employee with a Kindred facility, you need to wait 12 months to apply as a traveler.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Adult patient experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Ortho and neuro experience preferred but not required.

Unit Details:

• Inpatient rehabilitation program for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.
• Low-stimulation secured unit with monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, and a dedicated therapy gym and dining area.
• Uses high-tech therapy devices and equipment including the InMotion Robotic Arm, therapy car, Ekso NR, REAL VR, standard rehab equipment, and UDS ProDoc.
• Special apartments where patients and families can practice daily living tasks.
• Adult and geriatric patient population, including neuro/CVA patients.
• Common diagnoses and treatments include CVA, amputee, and orthopedic cases.
• Outdoor healing garden and walking trail to assist in rehabilitation.
