Special Requests:
Ability to start ASAP; this assignment allows expedited credentialing or pending credentials so you can start in under 3 weeks.
Once your initial RTO request is accepted, no further negotiations of terms will occur before your start date.
Being ready and willing to quickly be credentialed by our team is a must.
Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
Required Skills/Experience:
1+ ICU year of experience (floating is not considered).
EKG experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Neuro, CVICU, and trauma experience preferred.
Managing vents preferred.
CRRT and balloon pumps preferred.
Unit Details:
The unit cares for over 4000 cardiology patients annually and performs PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and biventricular pacemaker procedures.
Approximately 300 open heart surgery patients (18-24 hours post-op) are discharged from the unit.
The unit also specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
On-call is possible.
Floating Requirements:
Must be willing to float to similar units.
