Required Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
Unit Details:
Outpatient therapy setting.
Evaluates patients, establishes appropriate treatment goals, plans treatments, carries out treatment plans, and documents evaluations and treatments in an accurate and timely manner.
Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Attendants according to state laws and department work instructions.
Assists the manager with budgeting, setting yearly department goals, revising work instructions, providing in-service training and education, and improving patient satisfaction survey scores.
Assists with Physical Therapy promotional activities and program development.
Supervises and mentors volunteers and/or students in adherence with department work instructions and/or APTA guidelines.
Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule may be 4-10 hour days or 5-8 hour days per week.
Weekend and holiday work is not required.
