Required Skills/Experience: Will accept inpatient oncology experience as part of total experience, but must also have outpatient infusion clinic experience. Will not accept any other outpatient clinic experience except infusion clinic. Accessing ports. Previous Charge Experience: Required
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cellular immunotherapy and transplant patients seen through the continuum of care from pre-transplant to post-transplant, including autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplant patients and CAR-T patients. Fast-paced outpatient clinic/day hospital and infusion setting with rotation through infusion/day hospital, lab/port draw, clinic, and bone marrow biopsy suite. Chemotherapy/biotherapy administration and management, including investigational protocols. Transfusion of blood, platelets, and fresh frozen plasma. Port draw, phlebotomy, and central line access; central line care. Procedural area with bone marrow biopsy/aspiration and minimal analgesia with recovery. Management of toxicities related to chemotherapy/biotherapy. Management and monitoring of patients with neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, and electrolyte abnormalities, including repletion.
Special Requests: No time off requests during the first week of the contract.
Shift & Scheduling: 2-3 weekend shifts per contract.
