Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

Unit Details:
RNs circulate and monitor cardiac cath cases; all staff are cross-trained to monitor cases.
Uses a GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System.
Performs EP cases including ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations for atrial flutter, SVT, and atrial fibrillation, as well as peripheral and neuro cases.
Patient care includes cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization cases.
Usually handles 5-7 cases minimum per day; volume can reach 15 cases in one day.
IR specials are not performed in this area; those procedures are handled in a separate area.

Shift & Scheduling:
Day shifts start at 0600 or 0630.
Required call is approximately 10-11 days per month, including 1 weekend, with a 30-minute response time.
During unit orientation, the clinician starts with one call day toward the end of the week with an experienced nurse. The clinician is usually not scheduled for call the first weekend but should be able to take call by the second weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Will float between the Bryan campus (home base) and the College Station campus at 1604 Rock Prairie Rd, College Station, TX 77845.
