Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with Impella, high-risk PCI, and ECMO preferred.
Unit Details:
- Role includes scrub, monitor, and circulate duties for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assists with moderate sedation under physician supervision; may administer medications and contrast, start IVs, and administer IV fluids as directed.
- Adult patients. Cardiac and peripheral procedures, including carotid and hybrid cath lab/OR cases. No neuro cases.
- Will not be covering EP cases.
- Uses angiographic archival and digital x-ray systems, plus Philips Xper FD10 and FD20.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Monday-Friday; days can vary depending on department needs.
- On-call 1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month, dependent on departmental needs. Weekends are Friday 1700 - Monday 0700.
