Required Skills/Experience:
Stroke competency includes complying with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke.
Stroke competency includes two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire.
Stroke competency includes one hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
1 year of circulating experience preferred.
1 year of scrub experience preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing preferred.
Shift & Scheduling:
The position has variable day shifts with call.
Flexibility to cover all shifts is requested.
Holiday coverage is required.
