Required Skills/Experience: Nitro, insulin (may initiate and then transfer), low-dose dopamine and dobutamine; rare on this floor and titratable within a small range.
Unit Details: Common patient population includes total joints, cardiac rule out, pneumonia, psych, and general surgery post-op patients. RNs titrate heparin drips; heparin is weight-based. RNs read telemetry strips; monitor techs are available. Uses CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays rotate as needed. No call.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Primary assignment is at St. Clare Hospital; if needed, travelers will float throughout Region Two, including St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, and St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood. Can float to Med/Tele, PCU, or ICU to care for Med-Surg acuity patients, or to ER holding.
Special Requests: Submission limit: cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
