Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • First-time travelers allowed with outpatient infusion experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • PICC placement experience or vascular access certification preferred but not required.

Required Credentials:

  • Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:

  • RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Unit Details:

  • Ambulatory outpatient infusion department providing oncology support only and administering outpatient medications other than chemotherapy; chemotherapy is done in a separate unit, and this department does not require chemo certification.
  • Biologic/immunotherapy medications, antibiotics, antivirals, antifungals, iron infusions, bone health treatments, blood transfusions, hydration, and other supportive medications for oncology and obstetric patients, plus some pediatric line care and medications.
  • Adolescent, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient population.
  • Autoimmune, infectious disease, iron deficiency, oncologic, hematologic, and obstetric patient population.
  • Approximately 32 visits per day.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Potential for weekend coverage.
  • RTO: No more than 7 days.
