All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cardiac program is currently small, and some weeks may have no cardiac cases. TAVRs, approximately 3 a week, on standby in the cath lab.
Shift & Scheduling: Call will vary based on department needs. Must be flexible. Call requirements: 2 primary weekday calls (2230-0600) in the 6 week call cycle. 2 secondary weekday calls (2230-0600). 2 primary weekend calls (one day 12hour at a time, 0630-1900 or 1830-0600), Saturday or Sunday or both. 2 secondary weekend calls (one day/12hour at a time, 0630-1900 or 1830-0600), Saturday or Sunday or both. Every other weekend. Up to 2 weekend shifts per month.
Floating Requirements: Float to Main OR. General/ortho/spine or robot experience would help as the CVOR RN will be assigned to cases in the Main OR when there are no cardiac cases.
