Required Skills/Experience: 1 year experience required with 1 travel assignment.
Unit Details: Observation unit. Uses Meditech. Medical observation patient population. Patient ratios 1:5 or 1:6; charge nurse is in staffing and may occasionally take patients. Heparin drips only. Heavy telemetry unit with central monitoring. Fast-paced, high-turnover unit with frequent admissions and discharges, including up to 16 discharges per day. RNs perform their own EKGs and lab draws. No vents.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays rotate with permanent staff. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float to med surg.
