Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Cardiac, vascular, and thoracic operating room experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Ability to scrub cardiac and vascular cases preferred.
Special Requests:
- Cannot have an employment gap of more than 90 days (regardless of reason) in the past 12 months.
- Time off requests must be in contract.
Unit Details:
- 3 staff members per OR.
- Typical procedures include CABG, valves, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with interventions, LVAD, RVAD, and ECMO.
- Level 2 trauma coverage for all vascular and thoracic procedures.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 30 min call back time.
- Call requirement is approximately one weekend a month and 2-3 days per week.
