Travel Allied (PTA) - Physical Therapy

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials:
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday schedule.

Unit Details:
Patient conditions include neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and oncological conditions, as well as general medical cases.
The clinician is expected to engage regularly with the interdisciplinary team.
The team provides real-time documentation and point-of-service care.
Training will be provided by the team to prepare the traveler for clinical responsibilities.
Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

Floating Requirements:
The clinician is expected to work on all units within the hospital, which are mostly located in one tower.
