Special Requests:
Must arrive in Hilo on Thursday before the start date and spend the night in Hilo to attend the first HR/employee health clearance appointment at HMC on Friday. After clearance, drive to Ka'u Hospital that same Friday to complete initial paperwork and receive orientation paperwork. Do not accept the offered start date if you cannot arrive on time.
Unit Details:
Provides coverage in Rehab and Acute Rehab.
Evaluates and re-evaluates assigned patients in outpatient or inpatient settings.
Plans and implements an ongoing therapeutic physical therapy program as prescribed by the ordering physician.
Regularly updates treatment plans and home exercise programs, independently manages a full caseload, and determines when re-evaluations are needed based on insurance authorization.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday.
Must work Hawaii state and federal holidays as necessary based on hospital operations.
