Travel Allied (Sterile Processing Tech) - Sterile Processing Unit

Required Skills/Experience: 1 successful travel contract required. At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance, staff education, or supervisory responsibilities. Expertise in SPD AAMI, Joint Commission, and infection prevention standards.

Special Requests: Candidates should be able to start within 2 to 3 weeks of offer.

Unit Details: Quality assurance coordinator role focused on monitoring SPD workflow, quality, and daily operations; performing process and quality tray audits and documenting results in the tracking system. Provides staff training, coaching, re-education, and support for new hires and ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Maintains quality and event reporting, uses Epic and an instrument tracking system, and monitors routine equipment maintenance while troubleshooting minor equipment issues and following manufacturer IFUs and load-failure procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: No weekends. No holiday requirement.
