Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must be comfortable with attending high risk deliveries, as well as supporting NICU/PICU; High risk delivery experience – intubation of Neonate
  • Airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, Non-invasive ventilation, Code Blue and rapid response experience, inhaled medication administration to include nitric oxide.

Required Credentials: Valid driver’s license

Unit and facility details:

  • Transport is required - Will work through all campuses 20-25 minutes driving distance: Willis Knighton Medical Center - ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, Willis Knighton Bossier - ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele L&D - High Risk Deliveries, Willis Knighton Pierremont - ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, L&D - High Risk Deliveries, Willis Knighton South – NICU/PICU/Peds – Level 3 NICU and PICU and Adults – ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, L&D High Risk Deliveries
  • Transport Details: 2 call shifts a month with a 2-hour minimum. These call shifts could include adults; No additional compensation if the transport occurs during your shift. Transport could be ground or air; Less experienced RT’s will be required to take call, however they will cover the unit while the more experienced therapist accompanies the transport; Staff will receive orientation for transport equipment, documentation, and procedures; Additional call is available on a voluntary basis.
