Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years Cardiac tele experience.
- Cardiac telemetry.
Special Requests:
- Block schedule accommodations are not guaranteed.
- For any approved requests more than five days, the traveler is required to add the time to the end of the contract to allow a full 13-week assignment.
- All time off requests must be outlined at the time of submission.
Unit Details:
- Medical-surgical adult and geriatric patients with cardiology (ACS, NSTEMI, HF management, pre and post cath care, arrhythmia management), EPS (pacemaker placement, arrhythmia management), cardiac surgery (CABG, valve replacement, TAVR), vascular surgery (amputations, fem-pop bypass), and advanced heart failure populations, including pre and post heart transplant, ventricular assist device, inotrope support, and HF.
- Provider coverage is dependent on the primary team. All teams have an on-call provider 24/7, and most teams have a provider in-house 24/7.
- Safe patient mobilization equipment (ceiling lifts) in the majority of patient rooms.
- Night staffing ratio: 1 RN to 3-4 patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend requirement: 4 shifts/month.
- No call.
- Maximum of five RTO days will be approved for 13 weeks, seven RTO days for 18 weeks.
Floating Requirements:
- Float within scope to Acute Care/IMC.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
