Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Float Pool

Required Skills/Experience:
Large hospital experience required.

Special Requests:
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details:
The role involves total-care assignments with no PCAs.
Patient population includes surgical services: colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and orthopedic; and medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and gastrointestinal conditions.
The unit has no bedside telemetry; remote telemetry monitoring is used, with only occasional strip reading.
Respiratory therapy is readily available to assist; floors use nasal cannula.
The unit is transitioning to Epic in 11/2026.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No holiday requirement.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
Staff are assigned to need areas.
The float pool covers Med/Onc, two surgical units, and two medical units.
The clinician is first to float to any Med/Surg pod.
